If you're an acne sufferer such as myself, then you can understand just how frustrating it is trying to find that "miracle cure" that "vanishes" all your pimples, zits, cysts, and of course, acne scarring.

While browsing the net I came across an odd at home remedy for acne and oily/greasy skin.

Lemon Juice!!!

Yes.. lemon juice...

I must admit, I was very sceptical because, let's be honest, lemon juice? It sounds so sticky and gross... But after I tried it, I couldn't stop!

It stings & itches like crazy so consider yourself warned.. But the after effects (in my opinion) ARE TOTALLY WORTH IT!

How I incorporated lemon juice into my daily facial cleanse routine: 

**the lemon juice is very drying so I wouldn't encourage ladies with dry skin to try this one.. 

1. wash face with a light exfoliating scrub

2. soak a cotton ball in lemon juice (fresh or in the yellow squeezy bottle. your choice. doesn't matter)

3. apply the soaked cotton ball all over your face as you would with a toner

4. PREPARE FOR THE BURN / ITCHING (to help with this step I like to blow dry my face on the lowest setting while holding the cold air tab.. very refreshing)

5. once dry, apply an oil-free facial moisturizer (preferably with SPF - the lemon juice will (over time) make your skin more sensitive to sun burns)

After only a couple of days using the lemon juice I have noticed a HUGE improvement in my T-zone! The lemon juice is also helpful in blasting those annoying blackheads!

Organizing Underneath Your Bathroom Sink - DIY

So once again I was inspired by MarthaStewart.com 

I stumbled upon a diy storge unit for behind bathroom doors. Instead I chose to put my own spin on it and apply it like so:

The images above are the final product of what I am about to show you.

All products used were items that I already had in my possession:

plastic hanging closet organizer for handbags or shoes - purchased from Ross

blue plastic caddys - purchased from Dollar Tree

clear plastic tubs with lids - purchased from Dollar Tree

What I did first was grab one of my unused closet organizers.

The top and bottom of this organizer have a thick white fabric and sturdy stitching for a base to hot glue to your desired location.

I laid the organizer down flat on the floor and hot glued the clear plastic right in the middle of the thick white backing

I then cut the prepared dual pocket I just created off of the rest of the organizer, hot glued the thick white edge, and attached it to the railings for my bathroom drawers, and put all loose items into the diy pockets.

Voila!!

Teacups & Saucers

If you're one of the few individuals who own a tea set, then you'll understand just how frustrating it can be to store these lovely things. Sure, the saucers are easy as pie, they stack perfectly. The teacups, on the other hand, when stacked more than two high, immediately threaten to take a dive.

Luckily, while browsing marthastewart.com I stumbled across an awesome way to store teacups and saucers: placed cup over saucer, in stacks of no more than three or four.
